Meghan Murphy, Walpole: The senior captain collected 9 goals and 15 assists for the powerhouse Porkers last season.

Grace Nissi, Duxbury: The University of Michigan-bound senior captain had 20 goals and 11 assists last season.

Teams to watch

Canton: The Division 2 South Sectional and Hockomock league champions finished last season with a record of 16-1-1.

Duxbury: With Hannah Murphy and Grace Nissi leading the attack, the Dragons will be tough to beat.

Cohasset: The defending South Shore champs went 12-1-2 before losing to Dedham 2-1 in the first round of the Division 2 South Sectional.

Thayer: The Tigers captured the Independent School League crown last year with a 15-1 mark.

Walpole: Off a 22-1 finish, the Division 1 South champs will be the team to beat in the Bay State Conference.
