Sophomore catcher Emily Kurkul belted a single up the middle to score Stacey Korotsky in the ninth inning to give Bridgewater-Raynham a 2-1 win over Silver Lake and a berth in the Division 1 South semifinals Thursday night at Taunton.
“I was thinking I need to hit the ball hard, get it through the infield and score Stacey,” said Kurkul. “I knew she was home and it was the best feeling ever.”
Korotsky lead off with an infield hit. Senior first baseman Chelsea Correia sacrifice bunted Korotsky to second and Kurkul drove her in.
