BELMONT -- Adam Kleckner’s guttural howl echoed through the massive Wenner Field House at Belmont High, bouncing off the walls covered in maroon championship banners, carrying over the soft murmur of the crowd.

With two minutes left in the first half against Lexington, the 6-foot-4 junior forward took a pass from senior guard Keith Burns, fought through hard contact near the rim, and finished for two points. In Belmont’s 80-74 win over league rival Lexington last week, he had 36 points, 15 rebounds and seven steals.
