After closing out the second quarter strong, the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors outscored Doherty, 18-5, in the third en route to a 66-52 Central Division 1 win on their home floor Monday.

The contest was the first time an Eastern Mass. team played in a Central Mass. sectional after the MIAA’s realignment.

Lincoln-Sudbury’s patient and balanced used motion to wear down Doherty, while head coach Paul Rouse’s team simultaneously shut off the paint on its defensive end.
