South side
By Chris Forsberg, Boston.com Staff
A bit of a clarification on the state of the Boston South league:
Three teams are chasing two playoff spots as the Boston South race heads to the finish line Tuesday. O’Bryant, Brighton, and West Roxbury are all in pursuit of a berth in Thursday’s boys’ semifinals. First-place Brighton (12-1) faces West Roxbury (11-2) while O’Bryant (11-2) plays Dorchester (6-11) this afternoon. Brighton is already guaranteed a berth. But if West Roxbury and O’Bryant win, it would create a three-way tie for first and O’Bryant would be eliminated because of league tie-breakers.
