Live from...
On the heels of Friday night's Merrimack Valley Conference thriller, we're hoping or another quality boys' lacrosse matchup this afternoon. We'll be lived from Medfield, where the third-ranked Warriors host 10th-ranked Beverly at noon.
Medfield (15-2) has won nine of its last 10 -- only falling to Western Mass. power Longmeadow on May 6 -- and the Warriors lone Eastern Mass. loss was a 9-7 defeat at the hands of top-ranked Xaverian on April 17. Beverly will be only the second Division 1 team besides the Hawks that Medfield has plaeyd this season, but the Warriors also play St. John's Prep during the regular season.
Beverly (14-3) has also won nine of its last 10 -- only falling to Andover, 10-9, in overtime on April 28. The Panthers other losses came against St. John's Prep and Billerica, but coach Peter Ginolfi's troops have not endured a loss of more than three goals.
Check back around noon for updates (the rain may dictate how frequent we can haul out the ol' laptop), but we'll try to get you at least quarter-by-quarter highlights.

We're editing the longer Billerica-Andover highlight reel now. We'll have that online, ASAP.
