It was 0-0 for 19 innings -- then one team blinked.

Dartmouth's Caisie Cadorette outdueled Quincy's Kory Sorenson over the equivalent of nearly three games' worth of work until Dartmouth pushed across a run in the 20th. Sam Gregoire pushed across Kelly Gouveia with a bunt single and Dartmouth beat Quincy, 1-0, in a Division 1 South softball tournament preliminary round game.

The Indians will meet Oliver Ames in the first round of the MIAA Division 1 South sectional.
