Cohasset wrestling coach Torin Sweeney earned his 300th win as the Skippers took down BC High, 57-22.

"That just means I’m getting old,” Sweeney said.

Sweeney has spent all 29 years of his career at Cohasset, where he led the team to a state championship in 2005. The Skippers were state finalists in 1999, making the 2005 victory even more special for Sweeney.

“You just never know when you are going to get that group of kids back again,” Sweeney said. “We got lucky and got that group in just six years.”

The Skippers are now 4-0.

“It’s been a long time coming,” Sweeney said. “And more than anything it’s a tribute to the solid kids I’ve had here over the years.”
