The Massachusetts State Hockey Coaches Association released their latest "Super 8 Watch List" on Sunday morning. The list was reduced from 27 teams to 18 heading into the final week of the regular season, and that list will ultimately be paired down to the final ten teams (with the bottom four teams getting matched up for play-in games) by Saturday morning.

Malden Catholic (14-1-3)
Marshfield (15-2-2)

Reading (12-4-5)
St. John’s Prep (12-5-2)
St. John’s (S) (14-4-3)
St. Mary’s of Lynn (17-1-3)
Springfield Cathedral ( 9-5-6)

Eliminated from the initial watch list were: Andover (10-6-2), Arlington Catholic (9-6-4), Boston Latin (13-2-4), Braintree (11-6-2), Canton (14-1-2), Chelmsford (12-5-2), Falmouth (11-4-5), Franklin (14-2-2), Wilmington (10-4-5).
