Everett's Jakarrie Washington says he's headed to Wisconsin

Everett senior Jakarrie Washington says he has committed to play football next year at the University of Wisconsin.

The Crimson Tide running back and defensive back posted to his Twitter account his decision.

Washington was a fall Globe All-Scholastic, scoring 23 touchdowns in his final season as Everett claimed another Division 1A state title.

The speedy player is listed at 5-feet, 10-inches and 170 pounds.
