Roxbury Latin over Nobles — But once again, the ISL is a giant tease. Roxbury Latin, Governor’s, and St. Sebastian’s are all 4-0, but — amazingly — no two of these three unbeaten teams will play each other this fall. How is this possible? Who does the ISL scheduling?

Lincoln-Sudbury over Boston Latin — The most famous Latin alum, Ben Franklin, actually suggested the turkey as our national bird. Orville (5-1), the most famous Drumlin Farm turkey vulture, is baffled by that one. L-S makes Latin pay.

Stoneham over Reading — It’s never too early to predict an upset. But admit it, Rocket fans, with Thanksgiving a month away, you’re getting nervous.

Duxbury over Quincy — Certainly don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but has anyone else realized that Duxbury can tie A-B’s record for the all-time win streak at next year’s Division 2 Super Bowl?

Dorchester over Brighton — My Top 20 would start with 1. Dorchester; 2. Upper Cape; 3. Lowell Catholic. Just wish I had some pull around here.

Medford at Winchester — When Tibetan dancers did the Tashi Sholpa dance of good luck, it must have rubbed off on Mustangs.

Last week: 4-2. Season: 22-14.end of story marker
