Bristol-Plymouth vs. Madison Park
at Weymouth High School, 5:15 p.m.
Bristol-Plymouth (5-6) won when it needed to most, beating a vaunted Blue Hills team 28-26 on Thanksgiving to snatch a spot in the playoffs. It was nothing short of a surprise after an up-and-down season. Madison Park (7-4) is still reeling after two straight losses, including a 16-14 loss to Dorchester for the unofficial Boston championship and a tepid 6-0 defeat to O'Bryant on Thanksgiving. Both teams have a number of players who can do damage on offense, but this one may come down to defense. Madison Park is allowing only 7.6 points per game.
