Weymouth vs. Brockton
at Weymouth High School, 7:45 p.m.
Weymouth (8-3) comes into the playoffs licking its wounds after a 48-21 loss to Walpole on Thanksgiving. Brockton (8-3) has won some tough games down the stretch and is taking a five-game winning streak into the playoffs. Weymouth features quarterback David Harrison, who has accounted for 21 touchdowns this season. He's both a threat running and throwing the ball. He can also turn and hand the ball off to Ozzy Colarusso (8 touchdowns), who is back after missing six games with a shoulder injury. Brockton, which runs the triple option, is powered by quarterback Austin Roberts (14 rushing touchdowns). It's a run-first offense for the Boxers and Roberts has shown he's adept at getting tough yards and getting to the corners.
