Senior running back Ryder Stone’s three second-half touchdowns ignited Phillips Andover to 29 unanswered points as the Big Blue rallied past Brunswick, 35-28, in the Jack Etter Bowl, one of five NEPSAC season-ending bowl games.
Brunswick (7-2) scored first and held a 21-6 lead at halftime. The lead went to 28-6 before Phillips Andover (9-0) began its comeback.
Stone scored on a 28-yard run to make it 28-12 after three quarters. He then scored two more touchdowns, the first on a 28-yard run, the second on a 3-yard run that tied it, 28-28.
