Foxborough memories

The date was Dec. 1, 1990. In the last Division 1 Super Bowl played at Foxboro Stadium, Peabody finished an undefeated season by holding off Tewksbury, 20-14. Coach Ed Nizwantowski's Tanners (11-0) outmuscled Tewksbury before 6,476 fans. Peabody was led by junior Amoris Calcano, a backup who turned the Foxboro turf into his personal racetrack. Seventeen years later, neither school is in Division 1.
