Marshfield stat man: Running back Brad Poirier proved he was the Rams' leader when he scored all three touchdowns against Weymouth Tuesday. When the game's on the line, he gets the ball.
Chelmsford's captains: Rich, Mike Murphy, Mike Khirallah, Travis Pisecco, Wellman, Smart, and Willy Brown.
Marshfield's captains: Matt Macedo, Poirier, and Mike Scanlon.
Chelmsford seniors on roster: 25.
Marshfield seniors on roster: 15.

OUTLOOK

Marshfield needs to keep Rich from taking over the game and Chelmsford needs to take advantage of whatever a dominating Marshfield defense allows. If Marshfield wins, the defense gets to hold the trophy.

PREDICTION

This one is pretty simple. If the Rich family gets plenty of sleep tonight, it'll get the win tomorrow. The combination of Bruce (coach) and Tim (player) has been unbeatable since a loss to Acton-Boxboro in September. And, hey, this is a Smart pick, too.
Chelmsford 24, Marshfield 19
