BC High rolls past Andover
Senior Kyle Ewanouski got things going for BC High, scoring a pair of touchdowns before halftime in the Eagles' 38-14 victory over Andover last night.
John Jakobowski caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from Bill Kiley in the second quarter, was 5 for 5 on extra points, and kicked a 35-yard field goal in the first quarter.
Ryan Peek put his team on the board in the second quarter with a 92-yard kickoff return, but Andover trailed, 24-7, at halftime.
Kiley scored on a 20-yard run in the third quarter.
BC High (2-0) faces Acton-Boxboro (2-0) Friday.

Nonleague: Bridgewater-Raynham 27, Durfee 7 - John Dunmore caught two TD passes from Kevin Bumpus.
Barnstable 38, Dennis-Yarmouth 31 - Freshman Doug Crook threw for a school-record 342 yards, and Isaiah Voegeli set a school mark with 203 yards rushing as Barnstable (2-0) remained undefeated.
Brockton 28, Taunton 0 - Sam Previte and Khalil James-Offley each scored two touchdowns for Brockton (1-2).
Xaverian 18, Waltham 0 - Steve Tomas scored two touchdowns and a kicked a field goal. Xaverian faces Brockton next week.
Catholic Memorial 28, Haverhill 21 - Lorenzo Warren scored two touchdowns to lead Catholic Memorial.
Silver Lake 28, New Bedford 16 - Jake Luque scored two touchdowns for Silver Lake (2-0).
Somerville 14, Boston Latin 6 - Jeff Guzman and Seamus Desmond scored a touchdown each for Somerville.
Reading 34, Medford 0 - Junior running back Tino Perrina scored three touchdowns before halftime for Reading (2-0).
Cambridge 20, Peabody 14 - Jerome Rodriguez and Justin Bernard each scored a fourth-quarter touchdown as Cambridge rallied.
Malden 20, Methuen 7 - David Freni scored two of his three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lift Malden.

Nonleague: Bedford 28, Belmont 6 - Bedford's Tim McDonald ran for 114 yards and a touchdown.
Lincoln-Sudbury 20, Hingham 3 - A Derek Lowe TD pass, touchdown run, and pair of PAT kicks sealed the deal for L-S.
Somerset 11, Nauset 8 - Jake Scott's 8-yard touchdown run and 2-point conversion rush in the third quarter gave Somerset (2-0) the boost it needed.
Needham 27, Milton 13 - Jean Baptiste scored two second-half touchdowns for undefeated Needham (3-0).
Lowell 21, Nashua South (N.H.) 0 - Julian Carter's 85-yard interception return on the last play of the first half sparked Lowell. Teammate Ambruce Carter had 23 carries for 164 yards.
Billerica 34, Woburn 6 - Billerica freshman Nick LaSpada completed 8 of 11 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns, and ran 11 times for 63 yards and a pair of TDs.
Sandwich 20, Whitman-Hanson 12 - Justin Fitzmaurice, Al Stanton, and Nick Recker scored Sandwich's touchdowns. Jerry Bowman and Tyler Munn scored for the Panthers.
Franklin 18, Milford 7 - Matt Carini scored two of Franklin's three touchdowns in a fourth-quarter rally.
Dover-Sherborn 27, Weston 15 - Andrew Perlmutter ran for 214 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries and threw for 87 yards and one score as D-S rolled.

Bay State: Natick 34, Brookline 7 - Tommy Brandt scored two touchdowns for the Red and Blue.
Nonleague: Arlington 35, Burlington 13 - Matt Willey and Dan O'Loughlin united for Arlington (1-1), scoring two touchdowns apiece.
King Philip 35, Bellingham 0 - Back-to-back first-half touchdowns by Mike Cacciola sparked King Philip.

Cape Ann: Lawrence 37, Newburyport 23 - Ramon Heredia scored two touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes for Lawrence.

Cathedral 14, Hyde Park 0 - Kevin Marseille threw two touchdown passes and the Panthers defense, which gave up 30 points last week, pitched a shutout.
