Duxbury senior Shane DiBona announced yesterday he'll play college football at the University of Iowa. The 6-foot-2-inch running back has led the Green Dragons to a 9-0 record this fall, scoring a team-high 11 touchdowns.

And if you're thinking you'd like to see DiBona play, there's more good news. Duxbury will face Hanover today at 5 p.m. at Whitman-Hanson in the Patriot League championship game. The winner will earn a Division 2A playoff berth. Duxbury beat Hanover, 35-6, Oct. 3.

Also at Whitman-Hanson on Day 2 of Patriot Weekend, Pembroke plays the host Panthers at 1.
