Terrence Gibson, Rockland: The junior back piled up 137 rushing yards on seven carries in the Bulldogs’ 35-12 Patriot League (Fisher) win over Pembroke. His three touchdowns included a 45-yard reception and a pair of long runs (65 and 36 yards). “He’s a speedster, uncanny speed,’’ coach Ken Owen said. “You don’t see this kind of foot speed at our level . . . it’s his thing. He’s a pretty talented kid.’’

Matt Green, Stoughton: The Black Knights senior had two touchdowns in the 33-13 Hockomock League win over Oliver Ames. The wide receiver had a 28-yard rush in the first and then he received a 54-yard pass in the third to lead his Knights to their first win of the season.

Jordan MacPherson, Westwood: The Wolverine star senior started the scoring off with a bang in the first quarter, returning an interception 70 yards for a touchdown. He also had a 32-yard rushing touchdown in the 21-0 Tri-Valley League blanking of Bellingham.

Brendan St. Germain, Norton: The Lancers’ QB had 89 yards passing and two touchdown passes (32 and 20 yards). He also rushed for a 2-point conversion in the Lancers’ 21-6 Tri-Valley League win over Medfield.

Matt Schafer, Mansfield: The Hornets’ tight end/linebacker led the way in the 43-0 Hockomock League shutout over Canton. His night included a pair of touchdown receptions (33 and 13 yards) and then a 35-yard interception return for a third TD.
