Taariq Allen, Rivers: Shifting over to tailback from receiver because of injuries, the junior rushed for a school-record 263 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries in a 24-8 Independent School League win over St. George’s. He also caught three passes for 38 yards.

Alan Alvarez, Assabet Valley Tech: Senior running back carried 22 times for 181 yards and two scores in a 26-6 nonleague win over Quabbin Regional.

Charlie Bates, Arlington Catholic: Senior running back piled up 245 yards and five touchdowns on 14 carries in a 32-15 Catholic Central Large win over Cardinal Spellman. He has 10 touchdowns in his last three games.

Marcus Papas, Belmont: Senior wideout caught seven passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns, and picked off a pass on defense, in the Marauders’ 37-20 Middlesex League win over Lexington. His 14 touchdown receptions are most in the state.

Jack Sprague, Maynard: Junior wide receiver totaled 209 yards of offense (134 receiving, 75 rushing) and four scores in a 49-31 Division 3B win over West Boylston.
