Terrence Gibson and Mike Driscoll each turned in short touchdown runs in the first quarter and host Rockland hung on to clinch the Patriot League Fisher title last night, beating Hanover, 14-7.

Rockland advances to the postseason for the first time since 2000 and will play the winner of the Thanksgiving matchup between Swampscott and Marblehead.

The Indians got on the board in the fourth quarter on Matt Johnson’s 2-yard run but were unable to get any closer.

Division 1
Greater Boston

Somerville 30, Cambridge 22 - Brandon O’Regan was the star for the Highlanders, rushing for 232 yards and a TD on 13 carries, and intercepting a pass.

Nonleague Chelmsford 24, Tewksbury 14 - Joe Gennaro ran for 180 yards and three TDs, and Mike Aronion tallied 101 receiving yards for the Lions.

Division 1A
Dual County (Large)

Westford 42, Waltham 6 - Patrick Dugan threw four touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Grey Ghosts (7-3, 4-0). The win sets up a winner-take-all game on Thanksgiving with Acton-Boxboro for the league title.

Northeastern (Large)

Gloucester 21, Lynn Classical 14 - The Fishermen clinched their third straight NEC Large title by holding off the Rams. Behind, 21-0, Classical clawed its way back on TD runs by Kashawn Avery and Casey Johnson. The Rams were driving with under a minute left in the game when Ali D’Angelo picked off a pass in the end zone to seal it for Gloucester.

Hockomock

King Philip 10, Foxboro 7 - Brandon Howard ran 30 yards for a TD for No. 18 King Philip (8-2, 6-1) and Nick Muscatiello kicked a field goal in the third quarter that ended up being the difference in the win.

Franklin 27, Oliver Ames 0 - Nick Colson threw two TD passes to Brian Garvey and Matt Carini ran for a pair of scores as the No. 10 Panthers improved to 10-0.

Middlesex

Winchester 33, Burlington 0 - David Thomann returned an interception 102 yards for a TD and Paul Nowell recorded four sacks as the Sachems dominated the Red Devils.

Division 2A
Dual County (Small)

Bedford 62, Wayland 27 - Leon Barnes was unstoppable for the Buccaneers, scoring seven touchdowns while rushing for 245 yards on 19 carries.

Concord-Carlisle 45, Tyngsboro 27 - Jaron Hargrove carried the Patriots to the win, rushing for four touchdowns and 238 yards.

Patriot (Keenan)

Silver Lake 21, North Quincy 0 - Mitch Graziano had TD runs of 71 and 69 yards in the second half for Silver Lake. Graziano totaled 178 yards on just eight carries.

Patriot (Fisher)

Middleboro 28, Quincy 7 - Cody Carvalho’s three touchdowns helped the Sachems score 28 unanswered points to close out the Presidents.

South Coast

Dighton-Rehoboth 35, Old Rochester 13 - Tyler Berry ran for two touchdowns as the Falcons clinched the South Coast title.

Division 3A
Cape Ann (Small)

Amesbury 30, North Reading 7 - Tyler Lay threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another, leading the Indians over the visiting Scarlet Knights.

South Shore

Cohasset 34, Norwell 14 - Dana Valentine’s two touchdowns helped Cohasset clinch the South Shore League with a win over the Clippers.

Tri-Valley

Holliston 34, Bellingham 6 - Jake Frechette ran for two scores and caught a 90-yard TD pass from Sean Mayo as the Panthers extended their perfect season to 10-0 overall, 8-0 in the Tri-Valley League.

Boston North

South Boston 40, Charlestown 0 - Daquan Hill finished with three rushing touchdowns to lead the Knights.

West Roxbury 28, Boston English 16 - Zach Haygood scored a pair of touchdowns, including a 70-yard return of the opening kickoff, as the Raiders built a 28-0 lead and cruised past the Bulldogs.

Mayflower (Large)

Blue Hills 28, Diman 20 - Isaiah Teixeira rushed for 181 yards and two TDs for the Warriors.

Boston South

Brighton 38, Dorchester 12 - Kevin Depina had two of Brighton’s five touchdown runs as the Bengals improved to 4-5.
