OUTLOOK

Two potent offenses collide for the Division 4 Super Bowl. Whittier earned a bye into the Super Bowl thanks to an undefeated regular season. The Wildcats are led by Dillon Ryan, who commands a potent passing game. That will be tested by East Boston’s speed. The aptly named Jets use speed on defense to make opposing offenses uncomfortable. East Boston’s only loss was on opening weekend to Catholic Central Large champion Austin Prep.

PREDICTION

The Commonwealth Large has quietly been one of the most competitive conferences in EMass and September, October, and November translate to a win in December for the Wildcats.
