No. 1 Catholic Memorial

2007-08 season: The Globe's top-ranked team throughout the regular season, Catholic Memorial was downright dominant this winter. The only real blemish on the Knights' 14-1-3 campaign was a 5-4 loss to Rhode Island power Mount St. Charles. BC High and Central Catholic mustered ties, but no local squad could topple the Knights.

Forsberg's thoughts: Hellbent on reclaiming the Division 1A crown after not even making the finals last year (the Knights lost to eventual champion BC High in the crossover), CM is the supremely talented pre-tournament favorite. Then again, when are they not the supremely talented pre-tournament favorite.
