No. 2 Hingham
2007-08 season: One year after an unremarkable 13-10 campaign (one that included a first-round knockout in the Division 1 South tournament), Hingham enters the Super 8 tournament with a sterling 17-3-2 mark and will wear the banner of public school favorite.
Forsberg's thoughts: Despite its success, Hingham went 2-3-1 against fellow Super 8 teams during the regular season (with wins over St. John's Prep and play-in victim Westford Academy). Fortunately for the Harbormen, Waltham, BC High, and Catholic Memorial -- their three losses -- are in the opposite group for round robin play, making the road to the crossover bracket a little easier to navigate.
