Break up the public schools
Is it time to start feeling sorry for the catholic hockey powers? After Hingham made it two public school Super 8 champions in three years with a win over Catholic Memorial in the title game, it isn't such a crazy question. Led by goalie and CM transfer Derek McInnis, Hingham shut out the Knights, 1-0. ''Every night when I go to bed I visualized playing CM in the Super 8,'' McInnis said after. ''It's what you want.'' McInnis had 19 saves in the final and made Tim Driscoll's first-period goal stand up. McInnis left CM in the hope of playing more. It was a good decision.
