MVC is home of the best wrestling

Before the 2007-08 season started, the Merrimack Valley Conference was generally regarded as the best wrestling conference in the state. What happened during the season did little to dent that perception. Eight of the 14 Division 1 champions, and six of the 14 All-State champions were MVC wrestlers. At the New England championships, another MVC star, Evan Connors (left), took first place.
