Right now, McGeary has a fastball that tops out around 90 miles an hour plus a biting curve and a good changeup, all with a smooth delivery. Sooner or later, he figures to have a shot at the majors. That, of course, is the question he'll have to answer before the Aug. 15 signing deadline.
