Medford's Arantxa King was the only two-event winner at the All-State meet, blazing to a win in the 55 meters in 7.14 seconds before claiming the long jump in a single bound of 19 feet, 5 1/2 inches. That leap was enough to shatter the state record by more than an inch. King, a Bermuda native, recently signed a letter of intent to attend Stanford University.
