Dennis-Yarmouth's Colleen Wetherbee won the mile at the Division 2 meet in 5 minutes, 13.37 seconds, then improved her time by 19 seconds to win All-States (4:54.88). A week later, she returned to claim another title at the New England meet in 4:59.56. What's more, at the National Indoor meet in Maryland, she finished second (4:51.22).
