Earlier this month, Andover came from behind in the meet's last event, the pole vault, to win the All-State title. Mark Vetere led the way for the Golden Warriors, winning the pole vault with a jump of 14 feet 6 inches while also running in two relays, one of which -- the 4 x 400 -- clinched the state title. "It really validates our team and it really validates what we've been preaching all year,'' said coach Peter Comeau.
