No. 6: BC High goes back-to-back
Last year's Division 1
baseball title was nice,
but with only two starters
back this spring, no one
on the BC High baseball
team was thinking repeat.
At least not until this
month. But once the tournament
started, it was like old times in
Dorchester. "It's amazing what we've
been able to do with a whole new
cast," coach Norm Walsh said. "But
from day one, they set the tone and
knew what the expectations were for
this team." Bill Kiley and Tyler Horan
provided the leadership that led to
a 22-4 record. Horan's three-run
homer in the state title game helped
a little, too.
