The Malden Catholic hockey team, with an impressive display of skill, grit, and determination, captured the Super 8/Division 1A title for the fourth consecutive year, a run not accomplished in this state since Catholic Memorial did it from 1998 through 2001.

The Reading High boys pulled off an improbable late-season Cinderella ride which resulted in a storybook ending as the last team standing in Division 1.

In Beverly, the Division 2 Panthers put past demons to bed en route to an adversity-driven run which produced the program’s first ever state title.

All three respective division champions journeyed on different roller coasters through the regular and postseason to finish off the year on top.
