The offense never seemed satisfied. Players from the bench kept screaming to keep the foot on the gas. The defense didn’t allow a single goal in the second half.

It was almost as if Lincoln-Sudbury was using Morse code in its 11-4 lacrosse victory over Billerica Wednesday at Sudbury.

Goal. Goal, goal, goal. Faceoff win. Big save. Goal, goal.

The message to Duxbury: We’re coming for you. And we’re not afraid this time.

“We can beat them,’’ said L-S junior midfielder Henry Guild, a Yale-commit who scored four times to help send the Warriors back to the Division 1 Eastern Massachusetts semifinals against Duxbury, Saturday at 2 p.m. In a regular-season contest between the teams, L-S held a late-game lead before the Dragons rallied to win, 10-9, preserving their 33-game in-state winning streak.

“The first time, we had no idea what was going to happen. We weren’t as fluid on offense as we are now. And we almost beat them,’’ said Guild. “Now we’re going down there with so much more confidence.’’

The Warriors came out firing against Billerica’s man-to-man defense (which switched to a zone in the second half), scoring seven of the first eight goals and giving the Indians no chance at playing their style of play, a slower-paced, hard-nosed defensive game. Their All-America goalie, senior D.J. Smith, made 15 saves, but the Warriors’ attacking unit was relentless.

Guild was at the center of that.

“This year he came in and was just physically a different player,’’ said L-S senior defender Paul Tocci, who has committed to Army. “He has so much poise with the ball. And he’ll dodge and re-dodge, and if it’s not there, he’ll go again. He’s so fast it’s hard to defend him.’’

The Warriors have already knocked out St. John’s Prep, marking the first time since 2008 that the Big Four in lacrosse (Duxbury, L-S, the Prep, and Billerica) didn’t make it to at least the quarterfinals. And many think Lincoln-Sudbury has as good a chance as any to deny the Dragons a second consecutive state title.

Indians coach Craig Flynn said, “They don’t have any weaknesses.’’
