Players of the week
Norma Bourque-Pimentel, Malden — The senior outside hitter led the Golden Tornadoes’ with 23 kills in a 3-1 Greater Boston League victory over Somerville.
Jodi Katz, Needham — The junior libero collected 23 digs to lift the Rockets to a straight-set victory over Norwood (25-20, 25-21, 25-23).
Amy McKinney, Braintree — The sophomore outside hitter led the Wamps with 21 service points and 17 digs in their five-set rally (25-21, 21-25, 11-25, 25-14, 17-15) over Natick.
Yanthia DeJesus, Cambridge — The junior middle hitter collected 21 digs, 12 kills, and 3 aces in the Falcons’ 3-0 win over Somerville (25-22, 25-21, 25-20).
Sami Mulcahy, Bristol-Plymouth — The freshman had a perfect serve percentage over Bishop Connolly, going 25 for- 5, with five aces and seven digs for the Craftsmen in the straight set victory.
