Players of the week
Kaitlin Phillips, Canton — The senior setter rallied for 50 assists in the No. 6 Bulldogs’ 3-1 victory over Foxboro (27-29, 25-14, 25-19, 25-19).
Rachael Smith, Winchester — The junior captain had 13 assists and 30 serving aces for the Sachems’ straight-set victory over Lexington (25-17, 25-23, 25-23).
Maggie Mulligan, Boston Latin — The junior middle hitter totaled 23 kills for the Wolfpack five-set win over Newton South.
Melissa Osterman, Weymouth — The senior middle hitter notched 10 kills, 4 blocks, and 15 service points in her well-rounded effort in the Wildcats’ 3-2 victory over Braintree (19-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-17, 15-9).
Liz Wait, Andover — The senior netted a season-high 16 kills for the No. 5 Golden Warriors over No. 18 Central Catholic, 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 25-9, 23-25, 15-9).
