Brothers Nick and Jasper Grassa play together for Lynn Classical

Jasper and Nicky Grassa, like many siblings, feed off each other on the court, each able to anticipate the other’s next move. The Grassa brothers also have a pretty good sense of the mindset of their head coach at Lynn Classical: Their father, Tom, has been a fixture on the Rams bench since 1985. (Boston Globe, 12/12/09)

Fouled hard on a drive to the basket for the third or fourth time, Millis High senior cocaptain Molly Breen hit the floor with a thud in a scrimmage against Hopedale last week, and was down for about a minute before retreating to the bench. (Globe Correspondent, 12/12/09)

Rodney Beldo and Sam Malone first met when they were in sixth grade, as opponents in AAU basketball. After playing against each other for a season, the two point guards decided they wanted to be teammates, and Malone joined Beldo’s team. (Boston Globe, 12/12/09)
