Diego Fagundez scored in the 51st minute to propel the New England Revolution to a 2-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
The Revolution (3-4-4) got an insurance goal in the 84th minute, courtesy of a Ricardo Clark own goal.
The Dynamo, which lost at BBVA Compass Stadium for the first time ever last weekend, fell to 6-4-2 on the year.
Fagundez worked a give-and-go with Clyde Simms, slicing through the middle of Houston’s defense and appearing in front of Dynamo goalie Tally Hall, who had little chance on Fagundez’s shot inside the right post. Full story for BostonGlobe.com subscribers.
