Forward Andy Herron scored twice with his team a man down, helping the Chicago Fire salvage a 3-3 tie with the Crew last night in Columbus, Ohio. The tie extended the Crew's unbeaten streak to a league-record 15 games.

Earthquakes 1, Rapids 1 -- Dwayne DeRosario's goal in the 82d minute pulled San Jose even with host Colorado. Despite the tie, the Rapids still earned a playoff berth for the third straight year as a result of Dallas's loss to the Revolution.
Galaxy 1, Wizards 1 -- Visiting Kansas City scored on an own goal by Los Angeles's Sasha Victorine in the 89th minute. Tyrone Marshall scored for the Galaxy in the 65th minute.
