Growing up in Winston-Salem, N.C., Revolution midfielder Wells Thompson was a country music fan who loved playing ice hockey. Seven years of youth hockey included trips across North America and bonding time with friends and on game day. "I probably spent the majority of my time in the penalty box," Thompson joked.
