It's all over, Revs win, 2-2 (6-5)
Houston's last effort came close, but Matt Reis flicked it above the crossbar, setting the stage for a penalty kick showdown.
It's 2-2 after 120 minutes of play.
It's a familiar scenario for Dynamo-Revolution matches. The 2006 MLS Cup between these two teams came down to PKs also.
Ralston starts PK-a-rama with a score...
Next up, Craig Waibel, who nests it in the upper left corner.
Back to the Revs, and Matt Reis, turning the tables on fellow keeper Pat Onstad. Or maybe not. Reis's kick skied well over the crossbar. No score.
Houston's Chris Wondolkowski followed with a goal...
The Rev's Shalrie Joseph responded, for the second time tonight, to equalize.
Time for Dwayne De Rosario, Reis's nemesis in the last MLS Cup. Reis stops him on the bottom left.
Up steps Taylor Twellman. An excellent fake right, and now it's up to Houston's Brian Ching.
Reis stops him. Bottom right. The crowd goes wild.
The Rev' ;Khano Smith has his offer stuffed.
Ricardo Clark does a stutter-step, fakes Reis out, and scores upper right.
Jeff Larentowicz scores, straight down the middle.
Wade Barrett scores for the Dynamo, also down the middle.
The Revs' Chris Tierney scores with a rocket to the upper-left corner.
Kei Kamara of the Dynamo hits the top post, but it scores.
The Revs' Chris Albright fools Houston's Onstad by going right down the middle.
Corey Ashe steps up. Reis raises his left hand. The ball slams into the crossbar, and the Revolution win.
Confetti. A round of fake gunfire. And The Who again, back on the speakers, rocking to "We Won't Get Fooled Again.''
Goodnight from Gillette.

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes. That win could turn the corner. Seriously, that's a quality tournament they just won. This club is friggin' awesome. Shalrie Joseph is the league MVP. Nicol should be coach of the year every year. No Parkhurst? are you kidding me. This is a great soccer club we have in New England. .
Igwe looked like a total mess early on and it looked as if he was going to gift Houston a couple more, but he really pulled it together and made a number of great plays in the air and on the ground. He's no Parkhurst, and who is, but he went on to do well the rest of the night. A great win, and a classic match; everybody got their money's worth out of the Superliga matches.
Fabulous game, but only the MLS got their money's worth. They took 85% of the $1 million prize money leaving the players with $5 grand each. It is chump change for their Herculean effort, especially in the early matches against the Mexican teams where they were getting their skulls split open.
The Revs are a great team and Steve Nichols is a great coach and New England is lucky to have them.
Great match and, unlike in both semifinals, the losing side showed a lot of class.
