Golfer Sergio Garcia practices with the Revs
He's known as a pretty good golfer but he's also a got a nice "left peg." PGA Tour golfer Sergio Garcia, who is in town for the Deutsche Bank Championship, practiced with the New England Revolution Wednesday morning.
"Nice left peg," said Revolution coach Steve Nicol. "[He] just reminded me of a typical ol' Scottish football player."
"Unfortunately he showed a couple of guys up," Nicol later cracked. "So there could be something in the post. Check your mail."
Said Revolution captain Shalrie Joseph: "He's better than [Chad] Ochocinco by far. A lot better than Ochocinco."
Ochocinco spent part of the time during the NFL lockout training with Major League Soccer's Sporting Kansas City.
