Outlook: New England- The Revs should be very happy for taking three points out of a must-win game. They are in prime position to take control of the fifth and final playoff spot next week against Houston...San Jose: The Quakes are ragged and rundown and will need their regular starters back ASAP.

FINAL REVOLUTION 2, SAN JOSE 0

78th minute- GOAL REVOLUTION! Nguyen drives the ball across the box and Imbongo slides the pass into the back of the net for his second goal of the season. 2-0 Revs.

68th minute- Chad Barrett off for Dimitry Imbongo. Barrett showed that he can contribute to the attack when he starts, but unfortunately for him he had no goals to show for his efforts.

54th minute- San Jose just have so many players back in their own end of the field. 1-0 Revs.

47th minute- Lee Nguyen sees an effort go just wide of the near post. 1-0 Revs.

46th minute- And we're off! 1-0 Revs.
