Kenya's Benjamin Maiyo, a runner-up both here and in Chicago, is the top name among the final five men added to the elite field yesterday for next month's 113th Boston Marathon. Maiyo, who was second behind four-time champion Robert Cheruiyot in 2006, will be joined by countryman Elijah Sang and Ethiopia's Gudisa Shentema, and by Russia's Grigoriy Andreev and Moldova's Iaroslav Musinschi, who both participated in last summer's Olympics in Beijing. They'll be competing against Cheruiyot, 2004 titlist Timothy Cherigat, top US hope Ryan Hall, former medalist Stephen Kiogora, Chicago champion Evans Cheruiyot, and Daniel Rono, who was third in New York.

Ethiopia's Shuru Deriba has been added to a women's group that includes defending champion Dire Tune, former titlist Lidiya Grigoryeva, and Kara Goucher, who was third in her debut in New York.
