9. Lester's no-hitter

Any no-hitter is special, but this one had something more behind it. Jon Lester arrived at Fenway in 2006 and gave us hope for the future of the Sox rotation. Then, his battle with cancer gave us an entirely different kind of hope. His return to the mound was inspiring enough, but when he no-hit the Kansas City Royals on May 19, it was sweet on so many levels.
