4. The Summer of Manny
You want drama? We present the end of Manny Ramirez's career in Boston. He hit his 500th homer in May, but then "Manny Being Manny" took on a negative slant. He fought with Kevin Youkilis and Jack McCormick. Then came the breaking point, when he sat out against the Yankees with a phantom sore knee. Before his July 31 trade to LA (in a three-way deal for Jason Bay), he told the media that the Sox "don't deserve a player like me." Then we learned that he lobbied to stay in his final days.
