In the Financial District, the Downtown Boston Brass played Christmas carols to raise holiday spirits.
Eric Waite and daughter Emerson, 8, of Westborough got a chance to enjoy plenty of holiday activities in Boston including shopping and skating. Emerson, who showed off her holiday spirit with a reindeer antler hat, said she hoped to get an iPod Touch for Christmas.
Casey and Victoria took their kids Laurel, 4, and Oliver, 2, to Faneuil Hall Marketplace to surprise them with a horse and carriage ride.
