Full Moon

The philosophy behind this Huron Village restaurant is simple, according to its website: "Parents should be able to eat, too." Mom and dad can munch on penne puttanesca and veggie spring rolls while the children eat standards like mac and cheese and chicken fingers. Restless young ones can take a break from the table to visit Full Moon's play area, which is in eyesight of nearly all the tables but out of the way enough to allow parents to relax with their meals.

In the area: Take a leisurely walk around Fresh Pond before or after a meal at Full Moon. It's also about a mile from Harvard Square.

344 Huron Ave., Cambridge. 617-354-6699. www.fullmoonrestaurant.com
