Party Favors

This cavernous party supply store has cupcake making down to an art. Though Party Favors has had vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for years (decorated with everything from dahlias to "Dora the Explorer"), they added the decadent, filled "grand" cupcakes to the case two years ago.

Price: 85 cents - $4.25 (depending on size and flavor)

Our take: Owner John Pergantis raved about a recent passionfruit flavor, but we couldn't take our eyes off the extravagant "Chocolate Box" cupcake: chocolate cake injected with chocolate mousse, frosted with buttercream, and topped with three truffles. Wow.
