Sports Depot
This bar and restaurant, just off the Mass. Pike in Allston, is absolutely cavernous. There are TVs and sports-themed murals everywhere you look, and you can literally order a vat of beer (OK, it's really called a table tap but does serve a large, rowdy party). The Sports Depot's food is decent and the diversions — hello, Big Buck Hunter video game and karaoke — are great for friends who may not be die-hard fans.353 Cambridge St., Boston, 617-783-2300. sportsdepot.com
