Dmytrenko suggests that those passing through with friends or looking for an informal bite to eat check out Veggie Planet, a "cozy, nice place" with good atmosphere and live music courtesy of Club Passim, which shares the same space. Dmytrenko would top off a nice evening practicing slack lining (aka balancing on a rope between two trees) on the Charles River across from MIT. Less intrepid park-goers could probably just enjoy the river or relax in the night air.

Looking to get away? For a quick trip away from the hustle and bustle, he says the Boston Harbor Islands, accessible via ferry from the waterfront, are a great place to enjoy the nice weather, fly kites, and otherwise enjoy the outdoors.
